Psalms 53:2
God looks down from Heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God.
Devotion.
Sin breaks our connection/ relationship with God.
When sin separates us from our Creator God, we need to call out to Jesus, because He is very close to help us.
Prayer (for you)
Eternal Father,
What a wonder God, You are to us, Your creation.
You made us in Your Likeness after Your Image, and breathe into our nostril the breath of life.
And when humanity fell into sin and degradation, You made a way for us to be saved from our sin, and be renewed by the blood of Jesus Christ, our Saviour.
So I will seek You, O Lord, with all our heart, soul and mind.
The Holy Scriptures says, ” we will find the Lord God, if we search for Him with all our heart, soul and mind.
Help me to search diligently for You through Bible reading, Bible study, and prayer.
O Lord, thank You for providing a way for us to communicate with You through prayer.
A time when I can tell You everything, things that I cannot tell anyone else.
And the God of the Universe hears my every prayer, and will do for me what is always in my best interests.
So I will always seek the Lord, pray without ceasing- i.e. pray anytime and anywhere.
I can pray aloud or quietly in my heart – I can pray kneeling, standing or sitting.
O Lord, please help me to be pleasing in Your Sight and to understand You and to always seek You.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
