2 Corinthians 12:9
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness”
Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Devotion
The Apostle Paul had some kind of infirmity, and He prayed to the Lord that this thing might depart from him.
But the Lord Jesus said to him, ” My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore, regardless of our situation, our infirmities, our problems, you can trust this principle below.
Whatever brings us to Jesus for help and healing, in weakness, in sickness, will be our greatest decision and will lead to success and victory.
Jesus’ strength is made perfect in our weakness.
Prayer (for you)
Eternal Father,
Thank You for today and for Your loving watch care and protection from day to day.
Please be with me and my family today, keep us safe and secure under the shadow of Your Holy Wings.
O Lord Jesus, I give You thanks and praise that Your Strength is made perfect in my weakness.
When I am weak, when I have issues, You are my strength and my refuge in my time of need.
O Lord, thank You for Your amazing grace that saves to the uttermost.
Please help to always look to You for guidance, direction, protection and strength.
You are my Saviour, my Healer and the Author and Finisher of my faith.
I praise and adore You, glorify and bless Your Holy Name.
To God be the glory, great things He has done.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Hymn.
What a Friend we have in Jesus.
All our sins and griefs to bear.
What a privilege to carry.
Everything to God, in prayer.
O what peace we often forfeit.
O what needless pain we bear.
All because we do not carry.
Everything to God in prayer.
2.
Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged.
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a frend so faithful.
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness.
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
3.
Are we weak and heavy laden.
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Saviour, still our refuge.
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
In His arms He’ll take and shield thee.
Thou will find a solace there.
Amen.{
